I hadn't heard. Care to inform the uninformed masses?
It's a long story and I'm not going to put it all up here -- though I don't mind talking about it in more detail. The short version is that a while ago I started managing a strategic project that recently got unceremoniously canceled. After a few of my team members left for various reasons, the rest of us were layed-off last week. For the most part, this was me and a sub-section of the engineering team focused on this one project.
So, we'll see where I go next. Only time will tell. This week, I've just been relaxing.
